Haley!

I’m Haley, the folklorist-come-bookbinder rediscovering the British narrative. What fables have been buried between seat cushions? If anyone is invited to pen to paper in any way they like, can everyone be an author? Let’s all play make believe and find out one thing: How can we all help Britain get it’s act together?

Bookbind.ing is a celebration not just of honest text block-encasing action, but of ephemeral jubilance. I do not believe books are made to sit on shelves- they should propel us all forward. Here, books are not sacred, they are ritual, fabulist and magical. Let’s celebrate the book and what it’s done for the UK, and bring Britain back to life.

My practice is based out of Sunderland and I’m available across the world. There are no lengths I won’t travel for the sake of a good story.

A young man wearing glasses and a yellow Adidas T-shirt stands outside in front of a stone building with a gray arched door. He is at a small wooden table with a glass of water, a red stamp, and a notebook. A blue sign in front of the table reads 'Micro Poems & Micro Brews'. A brown suitcase sits on the ground in front of the table.
